With its construction, the DUKE Fury Star aluminium rim trimmed for Enduro racing is unbeatable in terms of grip and steering precision. On demanding Trails, it excels not only with quick response, but also with the necessary power when it counts.
. Made from a durable and lightweight Dynamal aluminium alloy, this Enduro and Downhill focused rim is perfect for racing in rough terrain. The large 28.5 mm inner width not only allows for a larger air volume, but also increases efficiency, comfort and grip in corners. The result is both excellent ride and bounce.
The asymmetric profile with 2.4 mm offset increases the lateral stiffness of the rim without adding weight. The design also benefits lateral stiffness. Compared to a standard hooked rim, the hookless design also offers greater durability and impact resistance.
The best possible tyre/rim combination is achieved when a relatively narrow tyre is mounted on a wide rim. A wide tyre floats from side to side on a narrow rim without support. Using a wide rim and a narrow tyre reduces tyre flutter on changing surfaces and improves bike control accordingly.

DUKE’s Tubeless compatible rims (UST, Tubeless Ready and NoTubes) only require some DUKE rim tape and a Tubeless Ready valve. They can also be used in a classic clincher set up (tyre + inner tube).
By offsetting, the wheel’s lateral strength and its stability can be increased without adding weight. Rim drillings are off-centre to optimise bracing angles for a stronger, more rigid wheel. In addition, an offset improves the balance between of the spoke tension between the drive and non-drive side as well as durability over the long-term.
The “Burp-Free” system holds the tyre bead securely in position regardless of tyre pressure and ground conditions. This prevents the tyre from coming off the rim even at maximum speed. As the tyre is prevented from being pushed sideways towards the centre of the rim, there is no risk of sudden air loss even when cornering.
