Details of the Newmen Evolution E.G.35 Rim

Based on the lightweight and durable NEWMEN Evolution SL rims, Newmen have reinforced the profile even further resulting in the Evolution E.G. rims being extremely resistant against dents. In fact they are 40% more durable than the SL A.35.

As with Newmen regular rims, the profile is completly round and the flared flanges keep the tyre rounder on top of making the rims so hard-wearing against dents and deformation.

The flat spoke bed is designed to work with special washers for extremely high spoke tension values whilst keeping the amount of material used down to a minimum. In contrast, the flanges are substantially thicker than on other rims in the same weight class for added strength and durability.

In combination with Newmen Evolution SL hubs and Sapim Race (2,0-1,8-2,0) spokes it is possible to build a durable and lightweight gravity wheelset.
