Renthal Fatbar V2 Riser Handlebar – 800mm – Gold

The second version of the Fatbar has undergone a full structural re-design. In keeping with the demand for wider, gravity oriented handlebars, Renthal has increased the width to 800mm. Their proven high grade 7050 T6 aluminium and variable gauge taperwall tubing is the key ingredient of the Fatbar. With careful and efficient use of material, we have massively reduced the weight to a trail-worthy 315g. At the same time performance levels retain the same legendary strength and durability and match the stiffness of the original Fatbar.
The Renthal Fatbar has already gained cult status and is the handlebar of choice for World Cup downhill race teams and athletes. Six World Championship gold medals have been won using the Fatbar, cementing it as one of the most successful race products of all time.
The current version of Fatbar is at a lower weight, despite and increased width of 800mm. This has been achieved with more efficient use of material, removing any excess to reduce weight, whilst retaining the strength, durability and flex characteristics as the original Fatbar. Laser etched positioning grid for easy set up and individual reduction of the handlebar width.
