Available in integrated and semi-integrated versions, this headset upper part is the key component of the Ritchey Switch system. It is specifically designed for use with the Ritchey Switch stem to effortlessly route electric wires, hydraulic hoses and and cables or cable housings from the handlebar internally into the frame.
The clever system allows the headset bearings to function smoothly, free of interference from the internally routed cables and wires. To do this, the cables are routed from the handlebar into the headset conduit which is located on the underside of the Switch stem. Through an opening on the front of the Switch spacers, these subsequently enter the frame through two channels on the top of the headset.

Ritchey Switch System
The innovative Ritchey Switch System was developed to easily conceal internally routed cables, electric wires and hydraulic lines in the bike frame without much effort.
This integrated concept is compatible with frames featuring a 1.5″ Straight head tube and a fork with 1 1/8″ – 1.5″ Tapered steerer. The Switch System consists of three components: a stem, a headset and matching headset spacers.
