The lightweight steel frame made of heat-treated CrMo tubes is equipped with an extra stiff “tapered” head tube to accommodate current tapered carbon forks flush. The carbon fork fits fluidly and can carry your luggage and extra drinks with a mountable front rack close to the axle. The flatmount disc brakes provide the necessary safety and braking power off-road. For this purpose, the brake mount is “neatly” accommodated in the rear frame triangle. By means of the necessary, but discreet eyelets for mudguards and luggage rack, the veloheld.iconX frame can thus also be transformed into a sporty tourer or a fast “every-day-commuter”.
